Meta Announces Generative AI Tools for Ads

Meta, the parent of Facebook, announced that it’s jumping into the Generative AI market with new tools focused on its advertisers. Once release, the new tools will allow AI to create ad elements such as background images and text.

Meta has invited a small number of advertisers into a testing area that it is calling the AI Sandbox. Later this Summer, Meta will expand the number of advertisers invited to use the tools.

The announcement from Meta comes quickly on the heels of rival Google’s announcement that it is incorporating AI elements into its core search product, along with integrations into photo and email.
