According to a report on Bloomberg, Samsung has barred employees from using ChatGPT and similar generative AI tools after embarrassing incidents involving sensitive code being uploaded to AI platforms.
Samsung’s move follows similar edicts from major banks and financial institutions, who are clearly concerned about leaks and transmission of confidential data.
