Adobe has been using AI within its product family for a long time, but they just announced a completely new platform, called Adobe Firefly. It looks amazing.
At the beginning, Firefly will focus on image generation and text effects, but expand into other formats, such as video, over time.
Firefly will be integrated into Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Adobe Express workflows, enhancing the creative process for users of all experience levels.
The first model, trained on Adobe Stock images, openly licensed content, and public domain content, is designed to generate content safe for commercial use.
The company is planning to allow customers to extend Firefly training with their own creative assets, generating content in their own style or brand language.
After the beta, Adobe plans to integrate Firefly into applications such as Adobe Express, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
